When products or services fall under an HSV category - are covered by an HSV collective agreement - Victoria's public health services must only purchase the items that the agreement covers.
For products and services in categories not in HSV's scope - are not covered by an HSV collective agreement - health services may purchase from suppliers of their choice.
If your products or services fall under an HSV category, to get them onto an HSV collective agreement you'll need to respond to an HSV tender. For more information, visit the How to view and respond to tenders page.
If your products or services are not in HSV's scope, you are free to approach the health services directly. To check if your product or service is in or out of HSV's scope, review the categories and subcategories detailed in the statement of requirements (SOR) for the collective agreement your items would most likely be covered by. To access the SOR:
- Go to Contracts and documents
- Select a collective agreement from the list
- From the collective agreement side menu, select 'Contract Files'
- Select the Statement of Requirements from the list of document.
